The Governor-General, who has been Patron of the Joanna Briggs Foundation for four years,
gave an impassioned speech about the need for evidence-based healthcare and praised the
work of JBI in changing lives and fulfilling a critical role of assisting health professionals
from around the world to become effective clinical leaders in their communities.

Rtd, Chancellor of the University of Adelaide; Mr Sumasy Singin, Consul General of Papua New
